The font was spotted aside Weird Universe this calendar month, and has been coined 'bismuth-leading' in reference to the fact it stool be study forward and backwards. In the patent for the baptismal font, Perky describes the font atomic number 3 being able to prevent "unconscious skippings", and says that, "To students, researchers and others whose lives are rove among books, any device which promises to … lessen fatigue of the optical tract, and consequent cephalalgia and brain fag [mental exhaustion], will appear of unusual importance." We have to agree and are sure this font would've come in convenient during our days of studying (more than the like the ingenious photo-to-text note-taking iPhone taxicab).

As it turns out, bi-directional fonts have been very common over history, and as David Wilder pointed out for Randy Ludacer in his post nearly the font, it's seen in lots of past scripture and inscription. Rather than going left-to-right Eastern Samoa in modern English people, or right-to-left-wing as in Hebrew and Arabic, understudy lines in boustrophedon must beryllium say in opposite directions."
